The rage which was exhibited on the social media page of the Member of Parliament for Yendi, could soon see him demand for the flagbearership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is care is not taken, a staunch member of the Progressive People’s Party has cautioned.

Mr. Richard Boadu has opined that inasmuch as Hon. Farouk Aliu Mahama has deleted a post which saw him vent his anger at President Akufo-Addo for leaving his name out of the deputy ministers list, the NPP must not be surprised if he demands to be made flagbearer of the party in future.

In a now deleted post, Hon. Farouk Mahama reported to his late father who was once Ghana’s Vice President that “Daddy, it is with grave sadness I inform you today that the very people you died fighting for sit aloof while your LEGACY is being trampled upon like children of lesser gods.

But speaking on Wontumi TV which was monitored by Wontumionline.com, Mr. Richard Boadu advised the MP for Yendi to stop riding on his late father’s legacy to score cheap political point.

Stop riding on people to take advantage“, Mr. Boadu said and predicted that with the way the MP for Yendi has started he wouldn’t be surprised if “demands to be flagbearer of NPP“.

He further classified the post as “selfish” and “unnecessary” not that he is not the only person in NPP to have parents who have sacrificed.

He therefore advised Hon. Mahama that he wouldn’t get anywhere in his political career if he continues like this.
