A former Deputy General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Lawyer Nana Obiri Boahen has sided with some party members calling for an early congress.
Lawyer Obiri Boahen said the NPP will conduct two congresses and that one should be conducted early.
Speaking on Wontumi TV Morning Show he said “the Presidential election should be done this year and the Parliamentary pushed to 2024.”
He was emphatic that early congress will help the NPP in several manners.
