Private Legal Practicioner, Nana Obiri Boahen has appealed to the government to name the Kumasi Airport after Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
Lawyer Nana Obiri Boahen stressed that Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has done a lot for Asanteman.
Speaking on ‘The State of Ghana’ Show on Wontumi TV, he said they will organize the 25th Anniversary of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II’s enstoolment in a grand style and showcase his achievements.
He said the Asantehene’s invitation to attend the coronation of King Charles III is a plus to Asanteman and Ghana.
“Ghana has a lot of Kings but Otumfuo was only invited and I’m not undermining any King. Ashantis and the British have a long-standing history.”
