The Member of Parliament for Asawase Constituency, Mohammed-Mubark Muntaka, did not take the recently held registration exercise in his constituency seriously, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, has reported.
Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, in an interview on the Wontumi Morning Show explained that the lackadaisical attitude of the NDC MP, led to the NPP taking advantage of the situation and gain more numbers in the area.
Due to this, the NPP Chairman also known as Chairman Wontumi, explained that Hon. Muntaka is severely pained and knows he would be exiting Parliament after the 2020 elections.
Chairman Wontumi noted that “during the registration, NDC lost 17000 in the stronghold in Asawase. The NPP’s number rather appreciated in the constituency by 4000…Muntaka knows he won’t win that is why he is plotting to kill me”.
