With experience, former President John Mahama has become sharp like an eagle and it could hurt the Presidential ambitions of both Vice President Bawumia or Mr. Alan Kyeremanten if they should underestimate him.
The above caution was made by the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the Great Consolidated Popular Party (GCPP), Kofi Owusu Omar.
Speaking on Wontumi TV, the GCPP Chairman New Patriotic Party (NPP) must go an extra mile if they want to elect a new flagbearer and beat Mr. Mahama in 2024.
According to him, the over 6 million votes which were bagged by Mr. Mahama in the 2020 Presidential election, was never expected and came as a suprise because many expected him to perform badly.
He therefore charged the executives of the NPP to organise a meeting between Vice President Bawumia and Mr. Kyeremanten and try as much as possible to let them understand that in order for the NPP to win the 2024 election and “break the 8“, they would both need each other’s help to make it.
