The Ashanti Regional Organizer for the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Francis Adomako, has taken a swipe at former President Mahama branding him a liar.
Speaking on the Wontumi Morning Show, Dr. Adomako, stated that the 2020 flagbearer for the National Democratic Congress is taking advantage of the petition he has sent to the Supreme Court with a clear intent to market his name for the 2024 elections.
For this reason, Dr. Adomako challenged Mr. John Mahama to come out and apologize to his supporters for lying to them that he won the 2020 Presidential elections.
In comparing the current petition before the court to that of 2013, Dr. Adomako stated that in the previous election petition, Dr. Bawumia who was then a running mate to then candidate Akufo-Addo, mounted the witness box to give his testimony unlike Mr. Mahama who has refused to make an appearance.
“Bawumia stood in the witness box but today where is ex-president John Mahama? In 2013, President Nana Akufo-Addo was always there in the courtroom but Mahama does show up”, he said.
He further described the witnesses who testified on behalf of Mr. John Mahama as a mess adding that “they are not people you can trust to do a diligent work.”
According to Dr. Francis Adomako, he is surprised about the unpreparedness of the NDC in court after staging series of demonstrations to claim they had won both the 2020 Presidential and Parliamentary elections.
