The Member of Parliament for Nhyiaeso Constituency, Stephen Amoah, has revealed that he has started embarking on ghetto visits mainly to interact with his constituents who are into wee smoking.
His latest move according to him, is to allow him put together a strategy to curb crime rate in his constituency.
“I am almost done visiting all the wee camps in my area…the wee smokers from the ghetto who would step forward to be helped, we will help them but those that would be recalcitrant, we would flush them out“, he warned.

Speaking on the Wontumi Morning Show which was monitored by Wontumionline.com, Hon. Stephen Amoah popularly known as Sticka, stated that there were several hardened criminals in his area which is tarnishing the image of Nhyiaeso.
One of the murderers of the late Ekow Quansah Hayford, the former MP for Mfansteman constituency, was arrested in his hideout at Nhyiaeso forcing Hon. Stephen Amoah to declare that he would ensure his area doesn’t become the safe haven for criminals.
Stressing on insecurity in his constituency, he further indicated that armed robbers were even start terrorizing constituents in his area as early as 8:15 pm.
“Last three years armed robbers killed 4 people in my area- all women. Just last year, two people were killed (one an armed robber)“, he sadly said.
Touching on ways to deal with the issue, the Nhyiaeso MP stated that he is concerned about developing modules which would allow majority of children in his constituency to attend school and get technical skills.
He added that he has an Education and Skill Aquisition Fund also coming on board to make crime unattractive in his area.
