The Ashanti regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, has shared a prophetic statement hinting that Bawumia, will be next President of Ghana after Nana Akufo-Addo.
The NPP Chairman popularly known as Chairman Wontumi assured his party members that he was going to work harder to ensure Dr. Bawumia breaks the eight year political cycle associated with the political tenures in Ghana.
“We are winning; we are breaking the eight (8). With God, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will break the eight (8). He will be the next President; he will succeed Akufo-Addo. We are going to make sure we are going to work hard- in Jesus name”, he said.
The Vice President is on a 3-day campaign tour to the region. He and his entourage amongst others, are expected to interact with party members, embark on door to door campaign and hold meetings with organized groups and religious bodies.
The Vice President will also pay a courtesy call on the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at the Manhyia Palace.
