(VIDEO) I’m Surprised EIU Report Didn’t Favor John Mahama- Senior Researcher Mocks
A Senior Research Fellow at the Kumasi Technical University (KSTU), Dr Smart Sarpong has commended the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) for its recent report about the 2024 general election.
The EIU has reported that the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) stands a greater chance of winning the 2024 general elections but not with the candidature of John Mahama.
Speaking on the report on Wontumi TV Morning Show, Dr Smart Sarpong said, if the Unit is using infrastructure to judge the NPP, then it baffles him the report didn’t go in favour of the former President.
He noted that John Mahama always claims he is the President who has introduced more infrastructural projects.
The Senior Research Fellow said the London-based analysts’ report is not factual rather assumption, hence the English it used.
According to him, the report will propel the political parties to prepare for the 2024 election.
