A Private Legal Practitioner, Lawyer Kwame Adom Appiah has said that Chairman Wontumi’s Akonta Mining Company has finally been vindicated following President Akufo-Addo’s declaration that the mining firm is not engaged in illegal mining anywhere in the country.
Lawyer Adom Appiah bemoaned that people call for the crucifixion of Chairman Wontumi if his name relates to anything.
He said on Wontumi TV Morning Show that facts on the ground indicate that Akonta Mining Company is not doing galamsey.
He said the mining firm will continue to do the right thing in consonance with the laws of the country.
