The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the Great Consolidated Popular Party, Kofi Owusu Omar, is calling on other old guards in the Akufo-Addo led government to emulate the steps of Osafo-Maafo and resign from post.
Speaking on Wontumi TV which was monitored by Wontumionline.com, the GCPP executive praised Mr. Osafo-Maafo, noting that the step he has taken shows that he isn’t a selfish politician.
“Osafo-Maafo has done well. He has shown that he is not selfish. Some of the ministers contributed to the downfall of the party (NPP) so they should emulate Osafo-Maafo and leave the scene”, Chairman Kofi Owusu Omar advised.
Senior Minister in President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s first term, Yaw Osafo-Maafo has reportedly served notice of his decision to resign from the position and government entirely.
