The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, has opened up on his early life revealing that he nearly became a professional UFC fighter.
The stout NPP Chairman in an interview on the Wontumi Sports show stated that it just took the grace of God for him to perform us a fighter in the octagon.
Touching on reasons he failed to make it to the UFC, Chairman Wontumi stated that “it was a new sport in London in 2001, and my boss nearly made me join…I was the strongest guy in our gym. I was well built than almost all the wrestlers who came to train at our gym. I had the passion to do it and my boss was preparing us for it. He later had a change of mind about me joining the sports”.
