(VIDEO) Govt Building Houses To Resettle Tidal Waves Victims- Ketu South MCE
Hon. Maxwell Lugudor, Municipal Chief Executive Officer for Ketu South says the government is building 15 two bedroom houses on the island and the service land to resettle the victims of the tidal waves in the Volta Region.
Hon. Maxwell Lugudor said on Wontumi TV Morning Show that the recent tidal waves was caused by the high-level nature of the sea.
He commended First and Second Ladies, Rebecca Akufo-Addo and Samira Bawumia for their unflinching efforts.
About 20 households were left stranded at Agavedzi and some adjoining communities in the Ketu South Municipality of the Volta Region after tidal waves hit their homes.
This comes barely four months after hundreds were left stranded in some coastal communities in the Volta Region last year.
