(VIDEO) E-levy: Mahama Insulted Ghanaians With His Repeal Statement-NSS Boss
Alex Opoku Mensah, Ashanti Regional National Service Scheme Boss, says former President John Mahama’s promise to repeal the E-levy if he wins power in the 2024 general election is a malicious deception.
According to Opoku Mensah, John Mahama’s statement is an insult but Ghanaians have believed him.
In an interview with Oheneba Nana Asiedu on Wontumi TV Morning Show he said John Mahama is an economist and very smart at it.
He said the statement by the Methodist Bishop, Bosomtwe Ayensu wasn’t unguarded but NDC members have misinterpreted it and rained unprintable insults at him.
Bishop Bosomtwe Ayensu has said John Mahama will not even win power to repeal the E-levy.
The NSS Boss stressed that Ghanaians will not vote for the former President if NDC elect him as their flag bearer for the 2024 elections.
He urged Ghanaians not to be forgettable about the former President’s bad legacy.
