The largest opposition political party, National Democratic Congress (NDC) over the weekend elected new executives across the sixteen Regions to steer the affairs of the party.
To this end, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi-Boasiako has revealed that he is extremely happy with the executives the NDC delegates have elected in the Ashanti Region.
Speaking on Wontumi TV Morning Show dubbed “The Privilege,” Chairman Wontumi said he has an interest in every politics that will take place in the country.
“This is because if you don’t elect a good leader for the country, the citizens suffer,” he explained.
He said he doesn’t overlook NDC affairs.
Chairman Wontumi reiterated that he will decide for the NDC on those who should be elected in the National Executive election like what he did for them in the Regional election.
However, he said it’s only the NPP that can save Ghanaians from the hardship in the country.
He stressed that if the NPP doesn’t retain power Ghana will retrogress bitterly.
Chairman Wontumi pledged that “some people like us will do everything to help NPP retain political power in 2024.”
