The Chairman of Health Committee in Parliament, Hon. Dr. Nana Ayew Afriyie, has exposed the spin being churned out by the minority Members of Parliament on the procurement of Sputnik vaccines by government.
The Minority in parliament is demanding the immediate abrogation of any contract between Ghana and any entity for the procurement of Sputnik V vaccines.
According to the Ranking Member on the Health Committee, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, revelations about the government procuring vaccines at $19 per dose instead of $10 smacks of financial impropriety and cost inflation.
But Dr. Nana Ayew Afriyie in addressing the issue stated that the minority got it wrong and could have investigated before misinforming the public.
