Shots have been fired the way of the Member of Parliament for Boadi Constituency, Samson Ahi following his deliberate plan to ridicule the Minister-designate for Fisheries and Aquaculture, Hon. Mavis Hawa Koomson.
A former Member of Parliament for Manhyia North, Hon. Collins Owusu Amankwah has dared the NDC legislator that he will fumble if he is caught off-guard and challenged to sing Ghana’s national anthem.
According to the former NPP MP, Sampson Ahi’s question to Hon. Mavis Hawa Koomson on the definition for fish farming was asked in a bad fate and urged that similar questions should be discouraged during the vetting of other ministers.
“It was a childish question just aimed to get at her. It is like being approached by someone and asked to sing the national anthem when you are not prepared. There is a high chance you might fumble and make mistakes singing it”, Hon. Owusu Amankwah said.
Sampson Ahi, has been chided by many for his conduct during the vetting of the Minister-designate for Fisheries and Aquaculture.
His question on “what is fishing farming” to Hon. Mavis Hawa Koomson subjected her to public ridicule of which many believe was deliberately asked.
