VIDEO: Burning Of Excavators Will Not Stop Galamsey – Farouk Al-Wahab Roars

 

International Diplomatic Consultant, Farouk Al-Wahab has waded into the issue of mining and burning of excavators currently happening in Ghana.

According to him, the burning of excavators is not a panacea to the much talked about illegal mining in the country.

Farouk Al-Wahab speaking on DEEP TALK with Kofi Adoma on KOFI TV monitored by wontumionline.com said they can burn every excavator in the country today, galamsey will resurrect.

The straight talk man, suggested for every mining activity to be banned for the next 10 years like other countries whiles finding alternative source to revamp the economy and in the same way create alternative source of employment for the people in the villages.

Fight Against Illegal Mining

Under the auspices of the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources of the Government of Ghana, a National Consultative Dialogue on Small Scale Mining was held from 14th to 15th April 2021 at the Accra International Conference Centre, pursuant to the vision of the President of the Republic, H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, to organize a national discourse to solicit diverse views so as to develop appropriate policy options for the small scale mining subsector.
