District Chief Executive for Atwima Kwanwoma District, Hon. Prince Karikari has lamented that since time immemorial, the area has not acquired a District hospital.
Hon. Karikari noted that when the deadly Coronavirus pandemic exposed the health system of the country, President Akufo-Addo identified some 88 Districts including Atwima Kwanwoma without a hospital.
“The visionary President Akufo-Addo foresaw the need to build hospitals in those areas,” he told Oheneba Nana Asiedu on Wontumi TV Morning Show.
Hon. Karikari said the construction of the Atwima Kwanwoma District hospital has progressed steadily.
He disclosed that the contractors are well within the time frame.
