(VIDEO) Ahafo NPP Youth To Petition Council Of State Over No Position In Gov’t Ministries
The Youth of Ahafo Region is planning to petition the Council Of State over lack of no position slot in government nor ministries.
According to the aggrieved Youth Advocate in the area, Albert Boakye Forkuo, they contributed massively towards the 2020 election victory but they have been sidelined.
Participating on “The Privilege Morning Show” on Wontumi Radio/TV, he bemoaned that the youth helped NPP to snatch four out of six Parliamentary seats in the 2020 elections.
“Planting for Food and Jobs was launched in Ahafo. We have Newmont Company and Cocobod, but we don’t have any indigene from Ahafo occupying either a substantive or Deputy Ministerial position,” he told Akyemkwaa Nana Kofi Asare.
According to Boakye Forkuo, he strived for a position in the Ministries but didn’t get the opportunity and will not relax until the youth in the area clinch a position in the Ministries.
