Averagely, about 700 patients are admitted at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) daily, the Public Relations Officer, Kwame Frimpong has disclosed.
Kwame Frimpong added that about 1000 people travel from 13 out of the 16 Regions to seek medical care at the Hospital.
In an interview with Oheneba Nana Asiedu on Wontumi TV Morning Show, he groaned that the Emergency Unity of KATH is congested.
He said notwithstanding that, the health workers are working assiduously to execute their mandate.
Kwame Frimpong expressed the hope that the completion of the Afari Military and Sawua Regional Hospitals will ease the pressure.
