Vehicles With ‘Disco Lights’- DVLA To Be Ruthless With Offenders
The Driver and Vehicle License Authority (DVLA) has begun an exercise to deal with drivers who have flashy lights on their vehicles.
According to the Authority, it is against the laws for a car to have flamboyant lights.
Revealing this on Wontumi Radio Morning Show, the Ashanti Regional DVLA Manager, Amos Abaka said the Authority is embarking on the exercise with the road safety authority.
“It’s very dangerous when you come across such cars at night. They contribute to some of the road accidents,” he affirmed.
Amos Abaka said the exercise would be done once a week and urged the public to give them a tip-off to trace those cars.
