Unintelligent, Childish...You Deserve 12 Lashes- Chartered Accountant Goes After Heward-Mills (Video)

More woes continue to follow Bishop Dag Heward-Mills as a Chartered Accountant has prescribed capital punishment for him for passing some derogatory comments about Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

Mr. Mintah has opined that considering the stature of Bishop Dag Heward-Mills in the Ghanaian society, it was highly “unwise” for him to attack the Asantehene in the viral audio that captured him slating the Ashanti King.

He stated on Wontumi TV that the head pastor of Lighthouse Chapel International was very lucky his words didn’t attract a slap from the audience he spoke to.

“It is highly nonsensical…He was lucky because someone from his congregation could have stood up and slapped him at the place the comment was made”, Mr. Mintah said.

In his view, Dag Heward-Mills deserved a slap because that he would have made him learn some form of sense from his action.

“Something memorable has to be done to him. It was highly unintelligent, childish for a man of him stature to make those comment. His church is very huge”, he added.

Bishop Dag Heward-Mills has been caught on an audio chiding the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

According to him, the reign of the King was useless and unbeneficial to his subjects.

Following the backlash the audio has generated, the founder of Lighthouse Chapel International has personally penned a letter apologizing to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and stating that the audio was made some 20 years ago.

A portion of his statement read: I am deeply saddened that a message I shared at a conference nearly 20 years ago has been taken out of its context and circulated by persons who have previously declared that they will maliciously cause our churches in Kumasi to be closed down”.

But Mr. Mintah described his apology as weightless adding that if the Bishop had made those comments in another country against another King, “he would have been arrested and given 12 lashes.”

He still held on his opinion that capital punishment would have been best for Bishop Dag Heward-Mills.

“He should be given body pains for him to learn his lessons”, he suggested.

According to Mr. Mintah, the derogatory words being used by the Pastor, could empower other people to also use unprintable words against Otumfuo.
