Twene Jonas Inciting Anger Among Ghanaian Youth- Tescon Deputy National Coordinator
The Deputy National Coordinator For TESCON, Sarfo Raphael Partrick has noted that social media commentator , Twene Jonas is inciting anger among the youth to insult the country’s leaders.
Mr. Sarfo Rapahael who was contributing to a panel discussion on Wontumi Radio and TV Morning Show predicted that, the youth are being influenced to be under the impression that the government has failed them and therefore have rise against sovereign authority and the established institutions to fight for their right which will not be good for the country.
“If the family of Twene Jonas does not come out to submissively apologize to the Asantehene it would create the impression that they are in support of their son’s open disrespect towards Nananom and this can land them in a big trouble for their son’s erratic behaviour.” He cautioned.
Sarfo stressed that, “every country has challenges and you can’t compare a country which is 300 years old to our Country which is just 64years old. We are on the right track for development under this government.”
Touching on the free SHS programme, the Deputy TESCON Co-ordinator acknowledged the immense success the government has chalked in the education sector.
He said initially, like most people, he doubted the chances of the policy succeeding but after its implementation in 2017 he has come to believe that Nana Akufo-Addo is the right man to rule Ghana.
He noted that, the number of students enrolled in SHS has skyrocketed from 800,000 to 1.25million per year since the implementation.
He said that, the double track system would soon be abolished because the government is building more infrastructure to accommodate all students enrolled in the SHS.
