With 300 samples of blood taken from suspected cases in January, 2021, the specialist said 150 persons had positive outcomes.
This, he said, represented a 21% positivity rate which needed to be addressed, adding that with the vaccine now available risk of infection would be drastically reduced with persons in the Municipality deciding to take the jabs when they have their turn.
