This is the time we need Artificial Intelligence, not 24- hour economy – Kusi Boafo urges

Thomas Kusi Boafo, Chief executive officer (CEO), of Public Sector Reforms, has urged Ghanaians to prioritize Artificial Intelligence over 24- hour economy policy.

According to him, artificial intelligence (AI) plays a pivotal role in today’s rapidly evolving world, hence there is a need to leverage its capabilities.

Speaking in an interview on Wontumi TV, on 15th August, 2024, he rubbished John Mahama’s 24- hour economy policy, citing that it is not feasible.

He However, touted flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for his enormous efforts to transforming the nation through digitalization.

“When the NPP introduced the Free SHS policy, John Mahama critized it. Meanwhile, the programme has enrolled about 5 million students. He says, he is bringing 24 -hour economy.

Dr. Bawumia is moving us into the fourth industrial revolution through digitalization.
This is the time we need Artificial Intelligence and not 24- hour economy” he explained.

He finally admonished electorates to vote for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the coming general elections.
