Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia was today accompanied by a sea of people as he filed his nomination at the New Patriotic Party headquarters today.
Meanwhile speaking during the filing of his nomination to contest for the NPP Presidential race, the ‘Digital man’ noted that he never got to where he’s now by chance.
He mentioned that he had to go through the thick and thin of life to make it to the top.
Vice President Bawumia revealed that he had to clean dormitories at Canada to make ends meet.
“It’s taken me discipline, dedication and hard work to be here today. I never had it on a silver platter. It’s been a very rough and tough rollercoaster journey for me. But through it all, I remained committed and dedicated.
I have trekked miles to school done menial jobs one would have never thought I would do including working as a mini cab driver and a warehouse worker and also a cleaner at dormitories when I was in Canada among other things”, he disclosed.
Explaining that it’s been by the grace of God that he’s come thus far in life.
