A coalition of Ghanaian youth has come together to call on the Ghana Police Service to release Shatta Wale and apologise to him.
According to them, Shata Wale is a hero who deserves to be celebrated and not a criminal who deserves to be jailed.
In a statement released by this group and sighted by GhanaCelebrities.Com on Instagram, they call for Wale to be released.
According to them, the publicity stunt pulled by Shatta Wale is an act of ‘soft protest’ against the police and the prophets who always prophesy doom for him and other Ghanaian celebrities.
They defined soft-protest as an act of demonstrating without taking to the streets.
In their statement, they said Shatta Wale and all other celebrities who have faced such death prophecies from attention-seeking pastors have been living in ‘fear and panic’ without the police taking any action.
In their estimation, Shatta Wale claiming to have been shot was a way to draw attention to the mental trauma he has been living in by suffering all these death prophecies.
According to them, Shatta Wale’s action has managed to get Jesus Ahuofe, the prophet who prophesied his death, to be arrested. Therefore, he has yielded results with his soft protest!
The group called for Wale to be released and hailed as a hero rather than being jailed and prosecuted.
