The Bono regional chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe better known as Abronye DC, has opined that chronic alcoholism has weakened Mahama’s mind.
According to him, this is the reason for which Mahama makes certain utterances without considering the implications. and thus, advise him that he stops drinking alcohol.
“I just don’t understand why Mahama has problem with the appointment of judges to the various courts by President Akufo-Addo…so for example, when the Sefwi Wiawso high court judge goes on retirement and must be replaced by a different judge, is Mahama trying to say because Akufo-Addo is the appointing authority, he shouldn’t appoint any judge and thus, the court must be left vacant without a judge? This is the reason for which I said he must stop the intake of alcohol”, he said.
He added that President Akufo-Addo has One Hundred and Twenty court projects ongoing, with Ninety-Eight completed so far. s
“So after building all these, does Mahama expect Akufo-Addo to allow him (Mahama) appoint Judges to the courts”, he asked.
