The Black Stars Worth Every Amount They Earn – Joetex Asamoah Frimpong
The Black Stars of Ghana amount of allowances they receive has been the talk of most Ghanaians in the recent years as they believe the money each player receives after a game or a tournament seems to be ‘HUGE’ sums and should be reduced.
Also many (Ghanaians) think that a player should take it as an honour when playing for your country.
However, former Black Stars International, Joetex Asamoah Frimpong also thinks the other way :
“It’s unbelievable that Ghanaians complain about Black Stars allowances, everyone on this earth earns from whatever job or work he does.
“Maybe you might think playing football is something simple or easy but it is very difficult and risky, looking at the way marks are all over my legs will tell you how football is a difficult job,
“So for me to risk all these then after you tell me that, the money I’m receiving is large sums, now that I’m injured and not playing anymore, where is the money coming from,’ he asked.
“So to me the Black Stars worth every amount or money they get.” he told Kumasi based Wontumi Radio /TV.
