Tepa: Planting For Food And Jobs: 80-Year-Old Farmer Presents Foodstuff To Akufo-Addo
President Akufo-Addo begun a three today tour to Ashanti Region on Monday 28/09/2020.
Throughout the tour, the President visited so many places within the Region to commission, cut sod and inspect ongoing projects in the Region.
President on the last day of his tour went to Tepa to Commission the Tepa Government Hospital where an 80-year- old woman, Akua Ataa managed to pass through the multitude to present plantain, kontomire, cabbage to His Excellency President Akufo-Addo.
Mr. President and other Ministers of State were dumbfounded to see a very old woman doing such agesture.
According to Akua Ataa who was speaking exclusively to Wontumionline.com, her love for Nana Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is beyond imagination.
The mother of three indicated that she has supported the NPP for many years but hasn’t received anything from the party.
She lamented that she finds it difficult to bring her food stuffs from the farm after harvesting so he is appealing to Mr. President to support her with tricycle.
Akua Ataa, therefore asked for God’s blessings for Nana Akufo-Addo so he can live long and do more for mother Ghana.
