The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, has accused the National Democratic Congress, the party’s flagbearer and the National Chairman of being behind the resurgence of the Western Togoland secessionists. Western Togoland Attacks: Five More Arrested For Stealing AK 47 Rifles The Police have picked up five more persons who allegedly invaded two police stations in the Volta Region. They are; Bright Sosu, Desmond Sosu, Richard Doglo Ametefe, Benjamin Kpelive and Raphael Tettevi. Accused who have no legal representation, have been charged with three counts of conspiracy, stealing, participation in campaign of a prohibited Organization namely Western Togoland and causing unlawful damage. One Dead, Two Injured After ‘Western Togolanders’ Capture Of Juapong One person has died and two others sustained various injuries after separatist group, Homeland Study Group Foundation (HSGF) violently captured Juapong on Friday, September 25. The deceased, Emmanuel kaleh, 26, died on the spot after a gunshot allegedly fired by the separatist group.
