The Ghana Union of Traders Association (GUTA) has grieved about the number of people who pay taxes in the country saying they are scanty. According to GUTA, the taxpayers are not up to two million of the country's population. Speaking on Wontumi TV Morning Show, National Vice Chairman of GUTA, Clement Boateng said more people are needed in the tax net to accelerate development.
