The director of Public Health for Ghana Health Service, Dr. Franklin Asiedu Bekoe says meningitis is to escalate in the upcoming months. According to him, this is as a result of the shift in the weather patterns. "We are likely to record more cases this time. This is because we are part of the countries on the meningitis belt and it is on the rise at this moment " he said.
