Deputy General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Lawyer Nana Obiri Boahen has chastised the Senior Presidential Advisor, Osafo Marfo over his alleged ethnocentric comment. In a leaked audio, the Senior Advisor to the President is heard saying Asantes were nowhere near the struggle for the country’s independence but his forefathers from the Eastern region are the people who led the struggle and fought for Ghana.
