The absence of a jury forced the Kumasi High Court to adjourn the hearing of a case in which a police inspector is standing trial over the murder of his girlfriend at Adum in Kumasi. Inspector Ahmed Twumasi of the Police Special Weapons and Tactics Unit is accused of shooting his girlfriend, a 27-year-old mother of one, Victoria Dapaah, also known as Maa Adwoa, multiple times at close range with a service rifle on April 20, 2023.
