The National Peace Council (NPC) is hopeful of a smooth transition process following the successful conduct of the 2024 general election. President Akufo-Addo Names Government Representatives For 2024 Transition Team

In accordance with the Presidential (Transition) Act, 2012 (Act 845), President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has announced the government’s representatives on the 2024 Transition Team. The appointments aim to ensure the smooth transfer of executive power to the incoming administration led by President-elect John Dramani Mahama. The Transition Team, comprising senior government officials, will be inaugurated on Wednesday, 11th December 2024, during a meeting between the President and President-elect.
