Rapper Tory Lanez was sentenced to 10 years in prison by a Los Angeles judge on Tuesday over the 2020 roadside shooting of Megan Thee Stallion, according to Los Angeles Times court reporter James Queally. Lanez, whose legal name is Daystar Peterson, was originally scheduled to be sentenced in February of this year but his legal team filed a motion for a new trial in March that was ultimately denied.
