The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu Ababio, made a historic visit to join the Awoemefia of Anlo, Torgbui Sri III, celebrate the Hogbetsotso festival 2022 and consecrate the alliance established between Asantes and Anlos by their forefathers in 1869. Other traditional leaders, Kwahuhene Daasebre Akuamoah Agyapong II and GA Mantse King Tackie TeikoTsuru II joined to show solidarity between the Ghanaian kingdoms. The Vice President of Ghana also graced the ceremony as a sign of respect and acknowledgement of our traditional leader’s key roles in governance.
