Teshie family

The Numo Nmaishie family of Teshie has lost a case at the Supreme Court over its claims that it owns over 72,000 acres of land in Accra East, in the Greater Accra Region. A unanimous decision at the apex court of the land saw the attempt by the family to lay claim to large expanse of land, which comprises about 70 townships and villages, crashed.
