Teacher Unions Urge GES To Reconsider Revocation Of Appointment

Teacher unions, including the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT), the National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT), and the Coalition of Concerned Teachers Ghana (CCT-GH), are pushing for the reversal of the Ghana Education Service (GES) directive revoking certain appointments. On February 17, 2025, the GES announced the immediate revocation of appointments and recruitments for teaching and non-teaching staff who have not been placed on the government payroll.
