Ghana Premier League champions Medeama Sporting Club are set to commission their new stadium ahead of their participation in the 2023/24 CAF Champions League. Medeama booked a place in the group stage of the competition after overcoming the challenge of Guinean side Horoya over two games last month, securing a 4-3 aggregate win. Medeama played their home games of the qualifiers at the Cape Coast Stadium as their home ground continues to be under construction.
