The Akufo-Addo-led government has been praised by residents of Tarkwa-Nsuaem in the Western Region for the progress of work on the 66 kilometer Tarkwa to Agona-Nkwanta road reconstruction project. A visit to the site recently revealed that the project was progressing steadily. The first phase has been asphalted and facilitating the smooth movement of people, goods and services. The reconstruction work is being carried out by Gabriel Couto-Rango Construction, a Portuguese construction company. The stretch serves as a major route for the transportation of cocoa, bauxite and manganese among others by heavy duty vehicles to the Takoradi Harbour for export. Attempts…
