President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo announced that, government will rename the Kumasi and Tamale International airports. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, government will in August this month inaugurate the Tamale International Airport, according to a Citi News report. The construction of Phase two of the Tamale Airport Development Project has been completed at a cost of US$70 million and awaiting commissioning by the end of this year.
