Former U.S. president Barack Obama has finally unveiled his 2024 summer playlist. The list as usual features global artists. In this year’s list, only two African artists were featured. Nigeria’s rising singer, Temilade Openiyi, well-known as Tems, and Divine Ikubor, also known widely as Rema, were the only African artists featured in Obama’s 2024 summer playlist. Tems made the list with her song ‘Love Me Jeje’ off her debut studio album ‘Born in the Wild’ – released in 2024. Making the cut on the side of Rema was his chart-topping song titled ‘Yayo’ from his sophomore album “Rave & Roses”…
