The Asokwa Circuit Court in the Ashanti Region, has remanded the Suame Constituency Youth organiser of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Razak Kuampa Avoliya. This comes after he was arraigned on Thursday for his comments over the weekend. According to the court, the matter bordered on National Security, as a result he cannot be granted bail. The case has thus been adjourned to Wednesday February 14. The accused was detained by the Police on Wednesday, after the regional leadership of the party turned him over.
