He clarified that the recent disconnection of Accra Academy was part of a broader nationwide effort to retrieve overdue payments. Seven headteachers from Senior High Schools (SHSs) in the Ashanti Region have been instructed to step aside amid allegations of collecting unauthorised fees from incoming students. In preparation to receive Form 2 students of both basic and senior high schools (SHSs) next month, the Ministry of Education (MoE), in collaboration with waste management expert, Zoomlion Ghana Limited (ZGL), on Thursday commenced phase three of the disinfection exercise in schools in the Ahafo Region.
