Prince Acheampong, widely known as Sabuto, has sadly passed away after battling an illness. The 52-year-old coach had been hospitalized for several days but succumbed to the undisclosed ailment on Tuesday afternoon. Acheampong was appointed head coach of King Faisal in January 2025, replacing Barnabas Awuni, who was dismissed following the team’s inconsistent start to the Division One League season. Under his leadership, King Faisal currently sits ninth in the Zone 2 standings with 20 points after 15 matches.
