1 Killed As Brave Driver Runs Over Car Snatchers

A yet-to-be-identified man has died after a brave driver run over him and his accomplice in their attempt to snatch his car at Tema Community 22 annex. According to eyewitnesses, the two robbers approached the driver with the intent of snatching his vehicle after forcibly taking his phone. In a display of courage and self-defense, the driver reacted swiftly, accelerating his vehicle and run over the attackers. 24-Year-Old Herbalist Jailed 30 Years For Robbery

The Mankessim Circuit Court has sentenced a 24-year-old herbalist to 30 years imprisonment for robbery at Asuokor, near Breman-Asikuma in the Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa District of the Central Region. The convict, John Awila also known as “Nana Kojo Agbeko", also claimed to be a reporter with Onua TV and Passion TV. He pleaded guilty to three counts of robbery and pleaded for leniency, but the court presided over by Mrs. Veronique Abena Praba Tetteh, convicted him for the offences. One Shot Dead In Robbery Attack At Saboba

One person has been shot dead in a robbery attack in Saboba, in the Northern Region. Citi News reports indicate that, the deceased was shot after being awakened by a scuffle involving his brother, a businessman at the Saboba market, and the robbers. Two Jailed 40 Years For Robbery

An Accra Circuit Court sentenced two people to 20 years in prison each for robbing a Best 5 Company Limited sales agent of GHC303,035 at gunpoint. Samuel Quansah alias Amobi, a herbalist, and Stephen Acheampong, a driver, pled guilty to robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery.
