Two people have been seriously injured after armed men raided the Konongo Odumase Concession of the Northern Ashanti Mines Co. Ltd. Three armed robbers who attacked a vehicle belonging to Accurate Giant Company on 26th November, 2022 in Tewobabi, Adansi Asokwa district of Ashanti, and stole an amount of 40,500 GHC have been jailed for a total of 60 years. Police are on a manhunt for a gang of robbers who attacked a cash collection point at Anyinase near Essiama. The robbery happened on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, the Police said.
